In May 2003, the aircraft was broken up at Glasgow. Six years later in August 2009, the Solway Aviation Museum preserved it, but only the cockpit section was saved. Prior to this, the cockpit section was exhibited at the Dumfries and Galloway Aviation Museum in Scotland. From February 1983 until May 2005, it had served as a fire training airframe at Glasgow Airport.
