To all prospective buyers.
This happens to be my first 1:200 scale model! I always said i would only go to that scale and £-range if it was good enough for me to push the boat out for!
On this occasion Etihad with OmanAir are my favourite liveries right now and if it was not for Arabian and Chinese airlines, frankly i would not have collected so many models this last year as of the boring, bland European liveries!
Besides that Inflight200 is one of the best model makers out there and at 1:200 scale Jfox from my point of view/opinion is its only equal! JCWings and Phoenix are good runners up but JCWings seem never or take forever to come out!
I am glad i choose the Inflight200 version over the JCWings version as their version is still not available and probably not til xmas knowing them! Inflight costs more but it shows generally over their model range! Ofcourse some are better than other depending on liveries and Aircraft type!
I thought my fist 1:200 model would be an A350xwb,preferably the 1000 model! Though only Gemini Jets has ventured thus so far with BA and Virgin Atlantic ,Qatar aswell with JCWings and Phoeinx/Eagle doing Qatar/Cathay Pacific liveries if i recall! None have made me go for one at 1:200 scale as with Gemini jets awful Engine moulds. I am hoping that Inflight200 will do a Etihad A350-1000 XWB and then i certainly will buy one!
So getting back to my view on this model its very good! An excellent reflection of the real thing! Bigger than i'd thought it would be for some strange reason though overall very pleased with it indeed! I am sure this was the better choice over the JCWings version thats not appeared and worth the extra money!
Overall i recommend this model if you are a fan on B787's or Etihad livery! The silver and greys are tricky to get right and not too much gloss ! graphics are good and clear and looks its money! I think they have done an excellent job on this model at Inflight200,well done !!! As with the Phoenix 1:400 scale was bad! The only other model to show up as of yet with this livery to compare it with!
So the Phoenix 1:400 Graphic great but paint job to glossy and way too dark for the main grey/silver coloured fuselage! Overall your better off buying the bigger 1:200 scale for this livery so you can appreciate it more and there is no alternative at the moment as of writing to choose from if you like this F1 livery or Etihad too!
Buy them whilst you can as i think this model will eventually sell out as of lack of competition at this scale at this time and Inflight200 at this scale is of the very best for standards! basically you can go ahead with pre-ordering any Inflight200 knowing it will be quality
