On April 11, 2022, the new Flybe, previously based in Exeter and now in Birmingham, with a new investor, resumed operations after two years with twelve leased Q400s. On March 5, 2020, the regional airline had become one of the first victims of the Covid-19 pandemic. The original of this model, outfitted with the new livery, was the first to recommence operations, flying from Birmingham to the second new hub of Belfast City.
