The C-130 can look back on a 50-year carrier within the Belgian Air Force – what better occasion for a special color scheme on one of the reliable transporters. The C-130H with the registration CH-01 of 20 Squadron “Sioux Bleu / Blauwe Sioux” was chosen. Currently six of the original 13 Hercules are still in operation, having been delivered between 1972 and 1972 to replace 22 Fairchild C-119 “Flying Boxcars”.
