The Hi Fly Airbus A380 9H-MIP was a unique aircraft that not only served as a passenger plane but also became a billboard for environmental awareness.

This Airbus A380 was part of Hi Fly's fleet and sported a special livery designed to promote the Mirpuri Foundation's “Save the Coral Reefs” campaign. The campaign aimed to raise awareness about the threats coral reefs face and the importance of protecting them.

The livery itself was quite striking. One side of the aircraft was painted dark blue and featured an image of damaged coral reefs. This served as a stark reminder of the destruction these vital ecosystems were facing. The other side of the aircraft was painted light blue and depicted a healthy coral reef teeming with colorful fish and other marine life. This contrast effectively highlighted the importance of conservation efforts.

The Hi Fly A380 9H-MIP wasn't just about raising awareness; it was also a record-breaker. In 2018, the aircraft completed a four-day around-the-world humanitarian mission, covering over 31,000 kilometers with stops in Tianjin, China, and Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

Sadly, Hi Fly retired its A380 fleet in December 2021. However, the "Save the Coral Reefs" livery will remain a lasting reminder of the importance of protecting our oceans and the incredible coral reefs that lie beneath the waves.
