This 1:72 scale die-cast model from the Corgi Aviation Archive range represents one of the most iconic American fighter aircraft of World War II – the Republic P-47D Thunderbolt, nicknamed "Rozzie Geth II". Flown by Lt Fred J. Christensen of the 56th Fighter Group, 62nd Fighter Squadron, this aircraft earned fame for Christensen’s remarkable feat of downing six German aircraft in a single mission over France on July 7, 1944.

Painstakingly recreated by Corgi, this model features authentic 1944 USAAF markings, finely engraved panel lines, and battle-weathered detailing that brings this air ace's aircraft to life.
