Model Notes: It has had new 1.200 wheels glued on neatly, and slight yellowing of the white paint work. However a very hard to find model with no original box. 

This Heathrow Models release represents the mighty Blackburn B-101 Beverley, one of the RAF’s most distinctive heavy-lift transports. With its box-like fuselage, twin-boom tail and cavernous cargo hold, the Beverley served with RAF Transport Command (later Air Support Command) throughout the 1950s and 1960s.

The model is finished as RAF Beverley XB269, an airframe that served across various UK and overseas bases during its operational life. Heathrow Models’ desktop pieces are known for their solid build, painted finish and clean presentation rather than mass-produced die-cast detail, giving them a traditional display model feel suited to desks, offices and collectors of classic British transports.
