This Corgi Aviation Archive Fairey Swordfish Mk II, in 1:72 scale, represents LS326 of 836 Squadron, Fleet Air Arm, associated with North Atlantic convoy operations in 1943 and later restored as part of the Royal Navy Historic Flight at Yeovilton. The model reference is AA36309.

The real LS326 served aboard merchant aircraft carriers on North Atlantic convoy protection duties. Its subsequent preservation gives this aircraft a connection to both wartime naval aviation and the historic aircraft collection at Yeovilton

Issued by Corgi in 2010, this pre-loved example is fully boxed and supplied with its display stand and limited-edition certificate, number 0154 of 1,450. It remains an attractive display model, although buyers should carefully note the condition details below.

Condition – Please Read

The model is in good overall condition, with no marks noted on the paintwork. However, there are two faults:

  • Loose wire rigging on the right-hand side when viewed from the front.
  • The wing on that side is slightly looser than it should be.

The model still presents well, but the price has been reduced to reflect these faults. It is not being offered in mint condition.

Armament, Details and Accessories

The model is fitted with eight underwing rockets. The rockets and wing-mounted aerials are present and in good order. No torpedo is included.

The tailwheel is in good condition, and the rear arrester hook remains in place. The model’s own display stand and numbered certificate are included.

Please examine the photographs of the actual model alongside this description before purchasing.

An appealing addition to a Fleet Air Arm or Corgi Aviation Archive collection, particularly for a collector happy to accept the disclosed faults in return for a lower-priced example.

Please note: Discount codes do not apply to Pre-Loved models.
