Icelandair’s “Hekla Aurora” was one of the most memorable Boeing 757 liveries. Sweeping shades of blue and green across the aircraft recreate the glow of the aurora borealis, making this PPC model a standout display piece for Icelandair and special-livery collectors.

This plastic model is designed for snap-fit assembly and display. No paint or glue is required. This is a collectable model, not a toy.

Aircraft history
Icelandair created Hekla Aurora to celebrate Iceland’s Northern Lights and its Icelandair Stopover campaign. The real Boeing 757 even had cabin lighting designed to evoke the aurora. Icelandair says the aircraft retired from its fleet in October 2025.
