This Skyline Models 1:200 scale model represents the Royal Air Force BAe Nimrod MR2P, serial XV260, finished in the distinctive RAF hemp colour scheme.

Developed from the de Havilland Comet airliner, the Nimrod became one of Britain’s most recognisable maritime patrol aircraft. XV260 served with the RAF’s Kinloss Wing and carried the specialised equipment associated with the long-range maritime reconnaissance role.
