A detailed 1/72 scale DeAgostini die-cast model of the Kawanishi N1K2-J Shiden Kai, one of the Imperial Japanese Navy's most capable land-based fighters of the Second World War.
Finished in the distinctive dark green Japanese Navy colours with Hinomaru markings and aircraft number 343-15, the model comes from DeAgostini's WWII fighter aircraft collection.
Includes the original Japanese-language magazine/collector folder shown in the photographs.
Aircraft History
The Kawanishi N1K2-J Shiden Kai was developed from the earlier Shiden and became one of Japan's finest land-based fighters. Featuring improved handling, a more conventional undercarriage and powerful armament, it was used by elite Japanese naval fighter units during the closing stages of the Second World War.
