This WB Models release recreates NASA’s Boeing 777-200ER, registration N577NA, in highly collectable 1/200 scale. The model is supplied with a display stand.

NASA acquired the aircraft to replace and expand the capabilities of its retired Douglas DC-8 research aircraft. The Boeing 777 is being converted into a next-generation airborne science laboratory, equipped to carry remote-sensing instruments and other specialist research equipment.

Based at NASA’s Langley Research Center, N577NA will support Earth science projects, atmospheric research, satellite sensor calibration and environmental studies. Its long range and substantial payload capacity make it an impressive addition to NASA’s research fleet.
