Add an aircraft associated with one of the Royal Air Force’s best-known fighter aces to your collection with this Corgi Aviation Archive Hawker Hurricane Mk.I.

This model represents Hurricane V6555, carrying the squadron code DT-A of No. 257 Squadron RAF. The aircraft was flown from RAF North Weald by Squadron Leader Robert Roland Stanford Tuck, who took command of No. 257 Squadron during the Battle of Britain.

Stanford Tuck was a highly decorated RAF fighter pilot who served during the Battle of France, the Battle of Britain and later operations over occupied Europe. He was credited with 27 individual and two shared confirmed aerial victories by the end of his operational career.

Finished in its authentic RAF camouflage and markings, this detailed 1/72-scale model captures the distinctive appearance of the Hawker Hurricane and its important role in the defence of Britain.
