A FAMOUS SHIP FROM THE USA AND WAS IN THE BATTLE OF MIDWAY 1942 :
During World War II, the USS Enterprise (CV-6) earned numerous accolades and commendations as an aircraft carrier. Following the war, it was taken out of service and ultimately sold for scrap in 1958. Despite attempts to save it as a museum piece, the vessel was ultimately dismantled in the early 1960s.
