Model Notes: Perfect model, looks like it's never been unboxed, with a certificate and original tissue paper. The box does have a few slight marks on the cover.

This Corgi AA48605 model represents the elegant Bristol Britannia 314, known as the “Whispering Giant” for its remarkably quiet turboprop engines. The aircraft depicted, G-ATNZ, flew with Caledonian Airways, one of the UK’s well-known independent charter airlines of the 1960s and early 1970s.

The Britannia was a long-range turboprop that bridged the gap between piston-engine transports and early jetliners. In Caledonian service, it operated charter flights across Europe, the Mediterranean, and beyond, helping to build the airline’s reputation before its merger with British Caledonian.

Corgi’s 1:144 model features finely reproduced tail markings, polished-metal style details, realistic propellers, and accurate Britannia proportions. A display stand is included for a clean in-flight pose.
