A classic British prop airliner beautifully recreated by Corgi, this Bristol Britannia 314 is finished in the distinctive colours of Caledonian Airways and carries the registration G-ATNZ.

Known as the “Whispering Giant”, the Bristol Britannia was a long-range, four-engine turboprop airliner developed during the 1950s. Its combination of range, capacity and relatively quiet operation made it one of the most recognisable British airliners of its generation.

G-ATNZ was one of the Britannia 314 aircraft operated by Caledonian Airways during the 1960s. The aircraft helped the independent Scottish airline expand its long-distance charter operations before the company later became part of British Caledonian.

Released as part of Corgi’s Aviation Archive Classic Propeliners Collection, this 1:144 scale model features an accurately reproduced Caledonian Airways livery, detailed panel lines, realistic propellers, rubber tyres and removable undercarriage. A display stand allows the aircraft to be presented in flight.
